About us

Corbis S.A. is a privately owned investment company committed to active management and development of the companies it owns. Founded in 1993 and based in Luxembourg, we have an almost three- decade-long proven track record.

We primarily invest in European small and medium-sized listed and unlisted companies and infrastructure projects and conduct active short-term trading with publicly listed securities.

We are a pragmatic investor and partner, able to make quick decisions and take a long-term view.

What we do and how we work

We focus on four segments: strategic minority stakes, private co-investments, infrastructure projects with a sustainability angle and maintaining and trading a liquid asset portfolio.

We aim at significant minority stakes and strive to actively support the companies we own, often through taking board seats ourselves or through our partners. We focus in sectors and geographies where we or our partners have a track record of contributing to the success of our investments.

Corbis often collaborates with its related companies Topsin, Palatum, Okawango and Fennogens.

While we evaluate investments on a case-by-case basis, we don’t invest in sectors that structurally conflict with our principles. Hence we currently do not invest in traditional energy generation, fertilizer or cement production, tobacco or weapons production, nor fast fashion.
